Reporting to the Manager of Labor Law, you will provide comprehensive legal support on employment law, human rights, and safety regulations. This position not only demands legal expertise but also promotes collaboration and accountability across the cooperative’s operations in Canada and the U.S. You will play a crucial role in negotiations, training, and managing litigation files.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on labor and employment law strategies
• Represent in grievance and litigation matters
• Assist in collective agreement negotiations
• Develop training materials on legal topics
• Oversee external litigation files
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Law and Quebec Bar membership
• Minimum 5 years in relevant legal experience
• Bilingual in French and English
• Strong client-focused and teamwork skills
