You will teach Woodwork and Metalwork classes to grades 8-12, along with Computer courses for grades 8 and 9. All instruction occurs on-site, fostering a hands-on learning workplace. Candidates should be committed to cultivating skills and knowledge in both industrial and technological fields.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Woodwork and Metalwork instruction for grades 8-12
• Teach students Intro to Trades courses effectively
• Implement Computer education for grades 8 and 9
• Conduct lessons directly at Fernie Secondary School
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Woodwork or Metalwork or equivalent
• Relevant teaching experience required
• Red Seal or Diploma in Technology Teacher Education
• Formal training in Computers at secondary level
• Preferred BC Teacher Certification
