In this role, you will manage and develop a team of professionals responsible for assessing and approving mortgage applications. Your focus will be on maintaining positive relationships with brokers and external partners while making key lending decisions within established limits. You'll also oversee team workflows and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members as needed
• Establish and uphold work standards for team efficiency




• Generate business from existing referral sources
• Stay informed on market trends and competition
• Complete required management reporting
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting
• 2+ years of people management experience required
• Proven ability to analyze data and make decisions
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Capacity to work under pressure in a high-volume setting
