Human Resources Administrator @ BFG Enterprise Services | Advanced Diploma

Role: Responsible for the installation and maintenance of communications hardware and networks in retail environments, including data, POS, and PC systems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Interpret and manage work orders, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform site inspections.
- Assemble and set up tools, materials, and equipment.
- Test peripherals, hardware, and software to ensure proper functioning.
- Install network and peripheral hardware (servers, switches, RF, POS, wireless, printers).
- Test, review, and troubleshoot installed systems.
- Travel to customer sites within assigned geographic areas.
- Perform work on day/night shifts.
- Install cable supports and manage cabling (UTP, coaxial, fiber optic).
- Provide work logs and reports.




- Liaise with customers and store staff regarding installations.

Occupational Requirements:

Technical Requirements:

- Experience with Network/POS/PC systems preferred.
- Experience with retail communication networks and infrastructure equipment.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools.
- Proficient in computer networking and basic computer skills.
- Valid Class G driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Personal Requirements:

- Willingness to perform shifts, weekends, on-call, and overtime.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Canada.
