The TTC is seeking a skilled Track Design Engineer for in office work within their Track & Structures department. This role requires proficiency in assessing track conditions, managing design projects, and implementing effective solutions. You will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with established maintenance standards while enhancing the reliability of Toronto's transit system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess subway track network conditions and compliance
• Design improvements for safety and performance
• Investigate and address noise and vibration issues
• Develop technical specifications for track components
• Conduct root cause assessments for track conditions
Requirements:
• Qualified Engineer registration in Ontario
• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Experience in track design or roadway fields
• Knowledge of A.R.E.M.A. standards and procedures
• Class “G” driver’s license and detailed design analysis skills
