Drive operational excellence as a Site Manager with American Iron & Metal. This key role focuses on supervising and optimizing yard operations while ensuring compliance and employee productivity.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Site Manager will lead various operational tasks at the yard. Ideal candidates will possess prior supervisory experience, preferably in the metal scrap industry. You’ll set performance goals, monitor workflows, and enhance employee engagement through effective communication and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set performance goals and deadlines aligned with company vision
• Organize workflow and clarify employee duties
• Monitor productivity and provide feedback to team members




• Prepare and submit performance reports periodically
• Lead by example and manage disciplinary actions when necessary
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a supervisor or site manager
• Experience in the metal scrap industry preferred
• Knowledge of commercial trucks and forklifts
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Office, and Excel
