MistyWest seeks experienced Mechanical Engineers to join their multidisciplinary teams. You'll design mechanical parts and systems, collaborating with project managers and design experts in various industries. Utilize your Solidworks CAD skills while engaging in product development and ensuring successful project delivery from drafting to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and design mechanical parts for various applications • Collaborate with teams on product development and research • Interface with contract manufacturers throughout the NPI process • Document designs for productive handoff to manufacturers • Design enclosures with thermal management and sealing techniques
Requirements: • 5+ years Solidworks CAD experience • Experience in lightweight mechanical design and integration • Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles for large-scale production • Solid communication with overseas manufacturing vendors • Familiarity with wearables and soft goods design (preferred)
