Our client is seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud ERP and Database Expert for a long-term 3-year remote assignment . This role requires deep expertise across Oracle technologies, cloud platforms, and database administration, with a solid technical background supporting enterprise environments. The position is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Montreal, Canada.
FRENCH AND ENGLISH speaking skills needed
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert-level support and guidance across Oracle databases , Oracle Cloud EPM , and Oracle Cloud Cost Management .
Lead or contribute to the design, deployment, optimization, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud and on-premise database solutions.
Perform advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system diagnostics.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams across different time zones.
Develop, maintain, and optimize scripts (Linux shell or other scripting languages) to automate operational tasks.
Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Participate in reviews, documentation,
and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Support the client’s technical roadmap and contribute to long-term architecture planning.
Required Skills & Experience
15+ years of experience working with Oracle technologies, including databases and cloud platforms.
Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud EPM and Oracle Cloud Cost Management .
Proven experience in Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Solid knowledge of Linux OS and scripting (e.g., Bash, Shell).
Bilingual or strong proficiency in English (French can be added if needed).
Ability to work remotely while maintaining alignment with Montreal business hours (time-shifted schedule).
Willingness to travel occasionally to Montreal
Solid communication skills, autonomy, and ability to collaborate in a distributed environment.
