Richmond School District is seeking a permanent Electrician at the journeyperson level in its Facilities Services department. You will perform essential tasks such as installing, upgrading, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires two years of relevant experience in commercial or institutional settings and offers a cooperative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair electrical components and systems
• Respond to electrical emergencies across district facilities
• Develop job layouts and estimate time and materials




• Provide technical advice to District staff as needed
• Maintain vehicle and electrical materials inventory
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and BC Interprovincial Certificate of Qualification in Electrical
• Two years' journeyperson experience in service work

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
