Support regulatory affairs for West Kitikmeot Resources Corp. as a Regulatory Specialist in Calgary or Kitikmeot Region. Engage in the Nunavut Impact Review Board process and expand your regulatory expertise.
WKR seeks a full time Regulatory Specialist to facilitate regulatory affairs for the Grays Bay Road and Port Project. This in-person role will be pivotal in NIRB assessments and subsequent stages, where your skills in coordinating submissions and compliance will be crucial. You will help ensure all regulatory timelines and commitments are met while fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with NIRB for GBRP assessments
• Maintain knowledge of Nunavut regulatory frameworks
• Track deliverables and compliance timelines for projects




• Prepare internal reports for leadership on developments
• Liaise with Inuit and governmental bodies as needed
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science or related field
• 3+ years in regulatory or compliance roles
• Familiarity with Nunavut's project assessment processes
• Robust written communication skills in English
• Willingness to travel within Kitikmeot region
