Baycrest Hospital seeks a Temporary Part time Registered Nurse to enhance the quality of life for older adults in our Complex Continuing Care program. This role requires you to assess patients, develop care strategies, and work as part of an interdisciplinary team to meet client and family needs. Engage in active participation in nursing education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge • Plan and evaluate interventions including medications • Focus on personal care, activation, and spiritual well-being • Contribute to the education of nursing students and staff
Requirements: • Registration with Ontario College of Nurses in valuable standing • Basic Cardiac Life Support Level C certificate required • BScN is a preferred qualification • Relevant experience in geriatrics is advantageous • Excellent communication and basic computer skills
