McDougall Energy is a Canadian family-owned business that delivers customized petroleum solutions. We are expanding our Fabrication Division with a recent shop and seeking a Tank Truck Fabrication Technician for a weekday day shift.

Responsibilities

- Build, repair, and troubleshoot specialized fuel and propane equipment, including tank trucks and trailers.
- Work in a non-production line environment focused on safety and real-world functionality.

Qualifications

- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience.
- Comfort using tools and working with industrial equipment.
- Ability to diagnose issues and think logically under pressure.
- Attention to detail and respect for safety-critical work.
- Physically capable of working with heavy components and within confined spaces.
- Positive, reliable work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently while valuing team input.
- Mechanics toolbox and personal tools required.
- Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong safety mindset.

Preferred Experience (Optional)

- Industrial millwright (ticketed or non-ticketed).
- Mechanical, fabrication, or heavy equipment experience.
- MIG/TIG welding.
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, automatic wiring.
- Tank truck, trailer, or specialty vehicle experience.
