Development Manager - Full Stack

Hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

Responsibilities
Provide constructive feedback and influence the performance and career development of high‑performing engineers.
Take full ownership of the full stack of our products and collaborate with peers on cross‑team initiatives.
Collaborate continuously with multiple departments and teams to understand their business and product strategies and translate those into strategic technical plans.
Decide with senior management on developing long‑term technology road maps and executing existing initiatives.
Lead multiple projects—including planning, prioritization, and task delegation.
Enforce accountability for the quality of software that is crafted.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven leadership experience in hiring, mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent, including performance management.
Solid proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, APIs, web services, and standard methodologies.
Knowledge of React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and GraphQL.
Creative problem solver capable of delivering in a fast‑paced workplace and finding effective solutions.




Experience driving the development of high‑scale systems and system integrations.

Compensation

Salary range: $130,000 - $155,000 CAD.
