Apave Canada is seeking a Lead Composite Technician in Toronto, Ontario, to spearhead advanced repairs of wind turbine components. This full time position combines technical skills, safety standards, and leadership.
As part of the Wind Services Department, you will oversee composite repairs while mentoring a dedicated team of technicians. Your role includes collaborating with various teams to ensure quality performance and compliance with safety protocols. Your proactive approach will enhance our services on wind energy projects, forging robust client connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead composite repairs on turbine blades and nacelles
• Supervise and support technicians in operations
• Help maintain and inspect wind turbine systems




• Work cross-functionally to overcome project challenges
• Stay informed on safety standards and best practices
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in composite repairs
• Knowledge of vacuum infusion and gel coat application
• Valid driver’s license and availability for travel
• GWO and IRATA certifications are a plus
• Solid communication and positive attitude
