Working with the CBABC, the Human Resources Consultant will operate as an independent contractor. This role involves guiding employee relations, talent management, and HR compliance in a qualified association setting. Candidates should have a robust HR background alongside a commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Build trusting relationships with staff • Lead recruitment and onboarding of recent hires • Provide strategic employment relations advice • Administer performance and compensation review processes • Update employee policies for legislative compliance

Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Human Resources • Minimum five years HR experience at a Generalist level • Solid BC Employment Standards knowledge • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with MS Teams and Excel an asset
