As a Resident Attendant, youll form a deep understanding of your residents and their living experience.

You will build relationships with the residents and their family members, offering a variety of support options and program choices that enrich their daily health and well-being.

Answers all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous service Completes all aspects of resident care as outlined in the plan of care and care assignments Transports residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as required Completes laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments Deals tactfully and courteously with residents, residents'' families and reports any concerns / complaints to the team leader Practices safe food handling techniques throughout all aspects of food preparation and service Performing other duties as assigned What you need to know: Minimum of six months of experience in a similar role.

Basic or Standard First Aid Certification in

Personal Support Workeror

Personal Care Worker,or a16 hour course that covers the provision of personal careand that is recognized by the department.

If you don''t have this, youmust bewilling to complete this course within 3 months of start date.
