We are searching for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator with at least three years of Canadian payroll experience. The successful candidate will handle full-cycle payroll tasks including recent hires, terminations, employee changes, and compliance with payroll legislation. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential for interacting with various departments effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process recent hires, terminations, and employee changes
• Complete weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all employees
• Administer employee advantages and support HR with payroll inquiries
• Investigate discrepancies with Project Managers and Site Supervisors
• Prepare payroll summaries and supporting documentation
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years Canadian payroll experience
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation
• Knowledge of Explorer Eclipse ERP preferred
