In the position of Facility Maintenance Specialist, you will be involved in the strategic planning and execution of facility maintenance projects. This includes utilizing a computerized maintenance management system and coordinating activities related to building operations. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will ensure compliance and manage key performance indicators to enhance our facilities' safety and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule maintenance and support zoo operations
• Implement improvements to the computerized maintenance management system
• Prepare estimates for work orders and projects
• Procure and oversee external suppliers for maintenance work
• Support the continuous development of preventive maintenance programs
Requirements:
• Certified Engineering Technologist or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of facilities maintenance experience
• Familiarity with asset management and project management
• Robust organizational and planning skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
