Drive safety initiatives as an EHS Advisor at Aecon, focused on utility infrastructure projects across North America. Promote health, safety, and environmental culture among all team members and stakeholders.
In this role, you will report to the Sr. EHS Advisor, ensuring compliance with Aecon's Health, Safety, and Environmental Manual. Your work will involve training employees and conducting inspections while developing safety plans that promote an equitable workplace culture. You will also mediate health and safety issues and analyze accident trends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and audits
• Train employees in essential safety protocols
• Develop workplace emergency plans and training programs




• Distribute safety materials and equipment to teams
• Conduct safety presentations to clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Experience in Health and Safety within the construction sector
• NCSO designation and solid knowledge of safety regulations
• Proficient communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
• Valid driver's license for travel
