Become a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist at IPEX in Clarkson. This role focuses on maintaining and improving HSE management systems across multiple sites.
As part of IPEX's mission to connect people with water and energy, you will support strategy development, deliver employee training, and conduct safety assessments. You will actively promote safe work practices and coordinate risk management initiatives to strengthen the organization’s safety culture and compliance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adapt and implement HSE programs across various sites
• Collaborate on procedures and work instructions
• Conduct compliance audits and safety training
• Participate in investigations of incidents and accidents
• Maintain HSE documentation and environmental compliance initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Health, Safety & Workplace or related field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in HSE roles
• Knowledge of WHMIS, TDG, and Canadian regulations
• Robust problem-solving and risk management skills
• Excellent communication skills in both languages
