Join Woodfibre LNG as an Operations Technician Utilities, based in Squamish, British Columbia. Your technical skills will play a key role in supporting LNG facility operations safely and efficiently.
As part of the LNG Project team, you will work closely with the Shift Supervisor, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with stringent safety practices. Your role encompasses maintaining equipment reliability, developing operational procedures, and advocating for environmental responsibilities throughout the entire facility lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement essential operating documentation
• Assist in executing the Operations Readiness Assurance Plan
• Guarantee secure production activities during shifts
• Support the facility's maintenance strategy
• Collaborate with departments on compliance checks
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of relevant utility operations experience
• 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate or EOCP Water tickets
• Proven experience in operational project phases
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
