Make an impact at District School Board Ontario North East as a Student Support Consultant. You'll provide critical support to students, developing targeted Behavioral Support Plans and Safety Plans.

This permanent, full time role involves assessing students directly and working with educational teams to implement effective support strategies. A degree in psychology or social work is essential, along with experience in crisis intervention and support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or ADHD. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct direct observation and assessment of students • Develop individualized Behaviour Support Plans • Collaborate with school staff for effective implementation • Provide modeling, coaching, and feedback to educators • Maintain communication with families and community partners

Requirements: • Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field • Certification in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention is preferred • Experience with ASD, ADHD, and other disabilities • Solid organizational and communication skills • Valid driver's license for service across large areas
