Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, this position requires expertise in preparing financial statements and analyzing property-level financial reports. You’ll also monitor bank accounts, reconcile transactions, and assist with construction-related payables. The role entails full cycle accounting for various properties, providing essential financial insights and maintaining compliance with policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for properties
• Analyze P&L; statements, balance sheets, and cash flows




• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor intercompany transactions
• File GST returns and support construction-related payables
• Verify invoices for compliance with financial procedures
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Proficient with Yardi and accounting software
• Experience in property management or construction accounting
• CPA designation is a considered asset
