Position Overview
ARG is building a talent pool of qualified Stack Emissions Testing & LDAR Specialists for upcoming and future projects. While this is not an immediate opening, selected candidates will be contacted as prospects arise.
This role is ideal for professionals with hands‑on experience in air emissions testing and/or LDAR programs who are looking to work on diverse industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct stack emissions testing in accordance with EPA / provincial methods
Perform LDAR monitoring using approved equipment and protocols
Set up, calibrate, and operate stack testing instruments
Record, analyze, and validate field data accurately
Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
Travel to various client sites as required
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in stack testing & LDAR
Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Knowledge of EPA methods and emissions testing procedures is an asset
Familiarity with LDAR programs and equipment
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to work in field conditions and at heights
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
Experience with EPA Methods (e.g., 1–5, 201A, 202, 25A, etc.)
Experience with CEMS, RATA, or regulatory reporting
Health & safety certifications (e.g., H2S Alive, Fall Protection)
