In this permanent, full time position, you will report directly to the Assistant Controller and be pivotal in supporting financial processes. Your responsibilities will cover complex financial modeling, performance measurement, and applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements. The role demands a focus on analytical skills to interpret operational data while supervising direct reports for continuous enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting for decision-making
• Develop budgets and forecasts to support capital projects
• Analyze systems, processes, and performance metrics
• Supervise and manage direct report performance
• Coordinate with corporate stakeholders on various analyses
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• CPA designation in valuable standing required
• Minimum four years in financial analysis, budgeting experience
• Experience in public sector or municipal settings is an asset
• Proficient in financial systems and analytical software
