Enhance the lives of patients at Deer Lodge Centre as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) focused on chronic care and complex conditions. Provide comprehensive nursing services supported by an experienced healthcare team.

Reporting to the Manager of Health Services/Resident Care, you will be instrumental in administering care and treatment for patients with chronic illnesses. Your role involves collaboration with a range of health professionals, along with the oversight of support staff and students. Be prepared for shifts that may include evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:



• Deliver skilled nursing care to patients/residents • Administer medical treatments as prescribed • Coordinate with healthcare professionals for patient plans • Supervise students and health care aides effectively • Participate in discharge planning for optimal patient transitions

Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program • Active licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba • Experience with geriatrics and chronic care • Solid communication and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to operate in a rapid-paced healthcare setting
