Lead Electrical Engineer Location: Vancouver, B.C.
We are seeking a technical leader to oversee the design and implementation of HV, MV, and LV power systems for mining and mineral processing projects, ensuring code compliance and project delivery across all phases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the execution of electrical engineering and design for mineral processing projects and associated infrastructure.
Develop proposals and conceptual designs for pre‑feasibility, feasibility, and detailed engineering.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.
Work across a succession of projects from concept to operations.
Coordinate with internal and external clients, other discipline professionals, and stakeholders.
Maintain high standards of personal safety and safety practices in design.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Sound knowledge of mining industry, Canadian regulatory codes, and standards.
Professional Engineer licensure and member of EGBC.
15+ years of experience in electrical engineering (HV, MV,
LV power systems) with knowledge of IEEE and IEC standards.
Experience in design/consultancy/operations in industrial processing or mining environments.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with instrumentation and control systems.
Self‑management of time, priorities, and activities.
Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Salary Range:
$160,000–$180,000 (based on education, experience, skills, location, and market conditions).
