The IESO is looking for an experienced leader to manage the power system engineering team. This position requires expertise in power system planning, operational execution, and resource assessments. The successful candidate will supervise staff, oversee modeling processes, and enhance the effectiveness of the IESO-controlled grid.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Offline and Combined Modeling teams for power system analysis
• Ensure delivery of high-quality network models and assessments
• Advocate for automation and continuous improvement in processes




• Manage team performance through coaching and guidance
• Oversee compliance with reliability standards and market rules
Requirements:
• 10 to 12 years of power system planning experience
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and system operations
• Solid leadership and project management skills
• Experience in data governance and automation
• Background in regulatory frameworks and market operations
