As a permanent part time Superintendent, you will oversee daily Paramedic operations under the Deputy Chief's direction. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulations, supervising staff, and addressing operational needs. Successful candidates must commit to a minimum of 10 shifts per month and be available for on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to communications from ambulance dispatch and allied health agencies
• Supervise paramedics and monitor adherence to protocols
• Conduct base visits to ensure supplies and equipment are managed




• Lead special projects related to community education and public relations
• Collaborate with the management team to enhance service delivery
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in Paramedicine or Health Sciences
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in the ambulance system
• EMCA or AEMCA certification required
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid Ontario Class “F” Driver’s Licence
