We’re a Toronto Insurtech start‑up modernizing data for the globalP&C; Re/Insurance market. Post‑MVP and raising our pre‑seed, we need a senior engineer who can ship rapid and own features end‑to‑end. Collectively, our team, advisors, and investors have held executive roles at major global insurers and at leading companies including SpaceX, Google, Snowflake, Salesforce, Citadel, Blackstone, and KKR.

What You’ll Do
Build React(TypeScript) front‑ends and SpringBoot(Java17) micro‑services on AWS
Drive features from design to production, including tests and CI/CD
Optimise data pipelines (PostgreSQL+Supabase) for scale, performance, and SOC2 compliance
Collaborate closely with founders and data science to productionise ML models
Shape our engineering culture and roadmap

What You Bring
5+years building production apps with React and SpringBoot (or similar Java)
Strong TypeScript, REST/GraphQL, relational DB, and cloud‑native skills
Start‑up or small‑team experience; you prioritise and deliver with minimal spec
CI/CD, Docker, and infrastructure‑as‑code fluency
Must already live in Canada and not require sponsorship
Bonus: insurance/fintech, SOC2, live near downtown Toronto
