Exacare ai is seeking its first In-House Head of Legal to create a 0 → 1 legal function. This pivotal role involves collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Leadership on contracts and compliance. Here, you’ll help shape the legal landscape while ensuring operational efficiency across various legal matters vital to the healthcare tech industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build the legal function from scratch with structured playbooks • Support compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations • Monitor evolving AI and technology laws • Negotiate vendor and operational contracts • Draft and manage customer agreements including MSAs and DPAs
Requirements: • 7+ years of corporate law experience • Proficient in drafting commercial agreements • Solutions-oriented with a business-first mindset • Ability to operate autonomously in a rapid-paced workplace • Solid communication skills to clarify legal concepts
