Overview

As a Qualified Senior Engineer, you would work in the team "Processes, Applications and Data Analytics" taking the role of NX and NX Open Specialist. This role will primarily involve participation in major digital transformation projects for CAD applications but is not limited to these areas.

Responsibilities
Analyze, identify, and propose engineering process and CAD automation improvements tailored to the requirements of internal and external clients
Lead requirements analysis workshops
Interact with various parts of the organization to ensure consistency in proposed solutions
Support engineering improvement initiatives aligned with the organization's CAD design strategy and in collaboration with the IT department
Support users during and after the deployment of process and tool improvements
Effectively manage team priorities and activities
Participate in and prepare meetings with the development team to coordinate activities leading to the delivery of proposed improvements
Provide continuous visibility into the progress of multiple projects conducted in parallel
Develop and harmonize project timelines and ensure technical teams adhere to these timelines




Lead activities to identify, manage, and mitigate risks, and prepare contingency plans
Facilitate problem‑solving and ensure engaging all stakeholders and achieving effective resolution
Thrive in a versatile and hybrid work environment, where some tasks are performed remotely

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing company
At least 10 years of relevant experience in engineering and/or IT
Project management skills with demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
Experience with CAD software Designcenter NX from Siemens
Basics of software development and automation (asset)
Experience with PLM, ERP, and product change management principles
Experience collaborating with software architects/developers (asset)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French, and ability to train and mentor others
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong analytical, planning, problem‑solving, interpersonal skills, and sound business acumen
Organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage time effectively
