As an Occupational Therapist, you will engage with clients in meaningful occupations, offering support for self-care, productivity, and leisure. This part time position involves working within a healthcare team to provide assessments, treatments, and team-oriented goal-setting aimed at enhancing clients' functional abilities and independence. Your work will include client participation in rehabilitation, mentoring students, and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver evidence-informed occupational therapy services
• Collaborate with clients and families in care planning
• Conduct assessments and diagnoses for goal setting
• Participate in interprofessional quality improvement activities
• Provide clinical supervision for Therapy Assistants
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
• Experience in client assessments and consultations
• Commitment to client-centric care and collaboration
