Assisting Caravel lawyers in delivering corporate legal services to clients across Ontario and/or Alberta and/or British ColumbiaSupporting Caravel lawyers with drafting transaction documents and completing financings, mergers and acquisitionsPerforming Corporate Law Clerk duties, including incorporations, minute book maintenance, resolution preparation, searches and registrations, transaction and financing assistance, and public company filingsOccasional fractional in‑house corporate law clerk opportunitiesThe flexibility to set your own schedule and take on other legal work as desiredWhat we are looking for




Minimum of 7 years of related experienceIf based in Ontario: Law Clerk Diploma or Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Certificate (or equivalent)If based in Alberta or British Columbia: Paralegal Diploma (or equivalent)Previous experience with managing corporate records, minute books, drafting resolutions and related corporate documentsContract management or in‑house experience is an assetEntrepreneurial, proactive and self‑starting team player, driven by the opportunities associated with a non‑rigid job structureStrong organizational and project management skillsExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailProficiency with MS Office and corporate law and entity management softwareAbility to work independently with appropriate judgment and discretionProfessional demeanour and excellent communication
