Gauge-Rite (2011) Inc. is searching for a Fixture Designer to contribute to high-quality precision checking fixture projects. In this role, reporting to the Director of Sales & Engineering, you will develop recent designs while modifying existing products per client specifications.
Collaboration within a team of engineers ensures that quality and innovation are prioritized in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Design fixtures from concept through to finished product
Create 3D surfacing and detailed checking fixture designs
Produce accurate 3D models and technical drawings
Apply GD&T; principles to all designs
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and GRI standards
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of automotive fixture design experience
Proficient in CATIA, Solid Works, or equivalent
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
Effective communication and teamwork skills
