As a vital part of the Community Health Centre team, this full time role focuses on addiction medicine within the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine Clinic and primary care for Managed Alcohol Programs clients. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a multifaceted approach to addiction and community health.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide addiction medicine assistance in a clinic setting
Participate in interdisciplinary team efforts for client care
Implement primary care solutions for vulnerable populations




Educate clients on substance use health care
Monitor and prescribe current addiction medicine practices

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized institution
Certificate in Extended Class from College of Nurses of Ontario
Experience in community health and addiction practices
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license and vehicle access

Deliver comprehensive addiction medicine and primary health care to improve community health access in Thunder Bay.
