Eclipse Automation is hiring a full time Controls SCADA Designer in Cambridge, ON. This role focuses on software design for SCADA systems and integration of automation solutions.
You will be responsible for developing software based on project specifications, conducting system testing, and ensuring that installations meet quality standards. You'll interact with customers for installation, training, and issue resolution, ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and configure software based on customer requirements
Debug and run commissioning at both facility and customer sites
Integrate hardware and software systems effectively
Create user manuals and documentation for training
Provide customer support for technical inquiries
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years' experience in SCADA and cloud systems
Proficiency in Ignition, Aveva, and SQL technologies
Experience configuring web systems and security interfaces
Relevant engineering degree or diploma
Knowledge of configuration management processes
