The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or bioinformatics, coupled with significant experience in computational biology. Your role involves handling genomic data, ensuring its readiness for modeling, and managing the complexities involved in workflow automation and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and maintain reproducible bioinformatics workflows
Process genomic data using industry-standard tools
Manage and integrate metadata under FAIR data policies
Validate and deploy AI models for predictive analysis
Optimize and troubleshoot bioinformatics tools
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
Demonstrated experience in bioinformatics in a Linux setting
Familiarity with genomic data formats like FASTQ and VCF
Experience with containerization and workflow management tools
Solid knowledge of machine learning techniques and data processing
