Become a part of Long & McQuade as an Independent Lessons Teacher focusing on voice and piano. This versatile contract role offers weekday, weeknight, and weekend availability.
You will teach at our Lesson Centre located at 175 Beverly Street, Cambridge, ON. Candidates must hold a music degree, a minimum Grade 8 RCM standing, or equivalent teaching experience. Successful applicants will have the ability to effectively instruct students of all ages, utilizing standard teaching methods and engaging lesson curricula.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct voice and piano lessons tailored to student needs
• Monitor and assess student performance and engagement
• Implement effective teaching strategies and lesson plans
• Create a supportive atmosphere for musical growth
• Partner with Long & McQuade for lesson enhancements
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in music or qualified equivalency
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
• Experience in teaching students of different ages
• Knowledge of effective education methods
• Flexibility for weekday, weeknight, and weekend lessons
