Our client is a water technology company that develops smart water meters, communication networks, and utility software for municipal water providers across North America. They are looking for a Junior Accountant for a 20-Month contract in Mississauga area 2 day days in office (Tues & Thurs).

The Junior Accountant is responsible for ensuring that our clients’ sales are converted into cash in a timely manner and that Accounts Receivable records accurately support the company's collections activities. The role manages customer invoicing, collections, cash applications, and related accounting functions while supporting process improvements and maintaining solid internal controls.

SAP experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Process daily and monthly customer invoicing, credit notes and billing activities.
Manage accounts receivable, collections,



cash application and customer follow-ups.
Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close.
Review customer contracts to ensure billing terms are accurately captured in SAP.
Respond to customer billing inquiries and statements.
Review service contracts and support QA invoice testing.
Support quarterly forecasting and ERP testing/implementation activities.

Must-Haves:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Accounts receivable experience with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles
SAP experience, contract billing experience, ERP testing, or implementation exposure
