As a Dietary Aide under the Dietary Manager, you will assist with food serving and ensure clean kitchen and dining environments. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, cleaning utensils and kitchen equipment, and adhering to safety regulations, making an key contribution to resident wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals according to residents’ dietary needs
• Prepare ingredients for cooking under supervision
• Clean dishes and maintain kitchen sanitation
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of food supplies
• Assemble nourishment carts and restock kitchens as needed
Requirements:
• Previous dietary experience is an asset
• Must have or pursue a Food Service Worker Certificate
• Ability to stand and lift moderately heavy items
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends
• Required to provide a valid VSC and TB test
