Job Overview
We are looking to hire shop mechanics. Red seal Heavy Equipment Technician are responsible for the safe troubleshooting and repair of various types of heavy equipment. We have a large fleet of equipment. Wiggle Wagons, Dozers, Graders, Excavators, packers, winch and picker trucks and a fleet of 16 tractor-trailer dump box units.

This job is for a shop position, but, mechanics must be prepared to work outside at times.

Duties
Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment such as Caterpillar machinery, farm machinery, and forklifts
Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently
Assemble and disassemble machinery components as needed
Conduct heavy lifting and use hand tools to complete repairs
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries





Experience
Proven experience as a mechanic working with heavy equipment
Ability to maintain and repair various types of heavy equipment
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $145,000.00-$156,000.00 per year

Experience:
mechanical: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
Class 5 Licence (preferred)
Journeyman (preferred)
