Elevate patient care as a Diagnostic Sonographer I with High River Hospital. Deliver secure, high-quality ultrasound services while collaborating with health professionals for optimal diagnostic outcomes.
In this role, you will perform various ultrasound examinations to aid in diagnosing diseases and monitor patient health. Key responsibilities include preparing patients, obtaining diagnostic images, explaining procedures, and addressing any abnormal findings. Working closely with other medical staff, you will assist in clinical interventions and ensure a patient-focused atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive ultrasound exams and screenings
• Prepare patients through instructions and history review
• Capture high-quality diagnostic ultrasound images
• Provide assistance during special procedures with medical staff
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound program
• Eligible for registration with ACMDTT
• Current BCLS-HCP certification
• Successful completion of Sonography Canada exams
• Valid ARDMS or Sonography Canada membership
