Help children shine as a Level 3 Early Childhood Educator with YMCA Northern Alberta. This full-time, on-site role enhances the development of youth aged 0-12.
At the YMCA, you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive curriculum that fosters a safe and inclusive learning workplace. This position not only includes direct interaction with children but also requires you to nurture community by engaging with families and mentoring peers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement educational programming for each child's development
• Facilitate engaging, inclusive activities and interactions
• Observe, document, and support children's unique learning
• Maintain compliance with YMCA and health regulations
• Foster parent relationships through daily communication
Requirements:
• Experience working with young children is a plus
• Current or in-progress Level 3 Child Care Certification
• Must possess Standard First Aid & CPR – C
• Police Information Check required with vulnerable sector clearance
• Proficiency in tablets and Microsoft Office applications
