As the Recreation Lead for Aquatics at the Town of Milton, you will oversee the secure delivery of recreation programs within the Aquatics portfolio. With a focus on leadership and compliance, you will work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, to maintain high standards throughout seasonal programming. Your experience in aquatics and municipal recreation will shine as you engage with staff and the public to enhance program success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and support direct program delivery
• Fill in for emergency shift coverage as needed




• Coach and mentor part-time staff during programs
• Assist in staff onboarding and training sessions
• Maintain recreation program software data
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Recreation & Leisure
• Minimum two years in municipal aquatics programming
• Current National Lifeguard certification
• Experience supervising staff and volunteers
• Access to transportation between work locations
