Be a part of the Child and Family Therapist team at the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Community Mental Health. This full time role focuses on innovative service delivery and community outreach.
You will deliver essential mental health treatment for children within the Community Outreach & Intervention Initiative program. As a skilled therapist, you will employ various therapeutic techniques and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to reach underserved populations. This is a meaningful chance to enhance lives through therapeutic interventions and proactive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage children, youth, and families not connected to services
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans




• Provide family therapy and facilitate therapy groups
• Ensure compliance with documentation and client tracking
• Collaborate with internal/external service providers
Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree related to mental health
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Competence in behavioral-based intervention techniques
• Willingness to travel and flexible schedule
