About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Architecture to lead its architectural practice with a focus on multi-family residential developments. The successful candidate will be the senior architectural leader, responsible for providing executive leadership in architectural operations, project delivery, and overall business performance. This role involves leading strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational initiatives to support the firm's growth, as well as overseeing project budgets, schedules, and financial performance. The Executive Director will also be a champion of architectural excellence, guiding projects from concept to construction, and ensuring that designs are innovative, functional, and buildable.





Applicants must be a Registered Architect in valuable standing with a Canadian provincial architectural association, with a minimum of 10 years' progressive architectural experience and a proven track record in leading multi-family residential projects. Strong leadership, communication, and strategic decision-making skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple complex projects and balance design, operational, financial, and client priorities. The role requires a deep understanding of construction systems, experience with design-build or integrated project delivery environments, and knowledge of municipal approvals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with Revit, BIM workflows, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and a background in fostering a cooperative, high-performing team culture.
