About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership, responsible for the financial oversight and planning of the organization and its subsidiaries. This includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. The successful candidate will also provide strategic leadership, act as a business partner to the CEO and executive team, and ensure that financial decisions align with the company's long-term goals. Operationally, the CFO will lead a finance team,
strengthen internal controls, and support the implementation and optimization of financial systems.
The ideal CFO for the company will have a skilled designation (CPA) or equivalent financial qualifications, with a strong background in financial leadership, particularly in a multi-entity or growth-oriented environment. Experience in strategic planning, executive decision-making, and a connection to the local communities are highly valued. The role requires a candidate with a commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with diverse partners. The CFO will also be expected to demonstrate a commitment to equity, inclusion, and Indigenous values, and to foster a culture of trust and development within the finance team.
