Shape the future of medical education at York University as the Lead in Interprofessional Education Learning. Drive curriculum integration and ongoing enhancement across the MD Program.
This leadership role focuses on implementing the MD Curriculum Committee’s strategy for integrating Interprofessional Learning within the MD Program. You will collaborate with the Associate Dean and various course leads to ensure alignment with accreditation standards and educational best practices. Emphasizing the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion, this position is crucial for nurturing adaptable physicians prepared for the evolving healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with course leads to develop an integrated IPE curriculum map
• Guide integration of IPE into diverse learning modalities
• Identify and expand IPE opportunities in clinical environments
• Design and continuously improve IPE curriculum components
• Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement for IPE assessments
Requirements:
• Master’s in Health Education or related field
• Proven leadership in IPE curriculum development
• Experience in advancing EDI initiatives in education
• Knowledge of IPE frameworks and Canadian medical education standards
• Skills in effective communication and problem-solving
