Description The Environment and Climate change analyst supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of CAEs climate mitigation and adaptation strategy across operations and value chain, with a focus on decarbonization, GHG accounting and regulatory disclosures.
Under the supervision of senior team members, this role is designed to develop technical expertise in GHG accounting, climate reporting and to execute CAEs corporate sustainability roadmap.
Key responsibilities include: GHG inventory management - Scope 1,2 and 3 emissions Support the annual carbon inventory process, ensuring completeness, accuracy and alignment with the GHG Protocol Assist in maintaining and updating calculation methodologies Ensure traceability, documentation and data controls of climate data Climate strategy and decarbonization across operations and value chain Contribute to progress monitoring (e.g., RE100, science-based targets) Support development, deployment and tracking of CAEs climate transition plan Assist in identifying and assessing emissions reduction opportunities in collaboration with Engineering and Procurement Support climate risk assessments (physical and transition) Climate disclosures and reporting Support preparation of external disclosures (e.g., CDP, Annual sustainability report and CSRD alignment)
Assist in the structured collection of climate and environmental data, ensuring timely submission across global operations Contribute to drafting climate-related content (narrative, performance analysis) Contribute to internal awareness and capacity-building programs on climate topics Minimum Qualifications Bachelors or masters degree in environmental science, climate change, sustainability, engineering, or related field A combined 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position Foundational knowledge in Carbon accounting or GHG verification (incl.
